Task Specific Glasses

     As humans we have a multitude of pastimes and hobbies.  These different  tasks place differing demands upon the visual system.   In certain instances it is advisable to have different prescriptions for different tasks.  There are many options that we are presented with that you can discuss with your doctor during your exam.  

If you have a specific hobby, it is advisable to make note of the distance to your eyes from where the hobby takes place and give this information to your doctor at your visit.  It will be helpful in discussing the possibility of specialty glasses.
